This was stated by the Ukrainian businessman Oleg Bakhmatyuk, owner of the Ukrlandfarming Group, in an interview with the founder of the Gordon media outlet, Dmytro Gordon, while commenting on the de-oligarchisation bill.

"Regarding the issue of de-oligarchisation, I believe that the influence of business on politics should be limited. The rules of the game should be set. […] I think it is definitely the right thing to do for the public at large.

You know, the sign is nice, but what will be under the sign… If it is being done to brand people enemies of the state, then it is called differently. If it's a list of names that is determined on the basis of loyalty or disloyalty, desire or unwillingness, then it's called something else," he said.

The businessman predicts that the law will pass.

Is this the right thing to do according to the agenda? I believe that [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelenskyy is pushing the elites to sit down at the negotiating table and work for the country," Bakhmatyuk explained.

According to the businessman, he is on the list of 13 oligarchs, and his name is on it.
