The aggressor has once again launched a missile attack on civilian industrial facilities of the Ukrlandfarming Group in the Dnipro region. One employee was injured in the attack. The production infrastructure of the elevator was completely destroyed
On the evening of 9 March 2024, the enemy launched a missile attack on the Dnipro region. A 58-year-old man, our employee, was injured. The production facilities of the facility were completely destroyed. This proves once again that the enemy is deliberately destroying critical infrastructure, civilian rather than military facilities. Under the supervision of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, pre-trial investigations have been launched as part of criminal proceedings into violations of the law and rules of engagement under Section 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The scale of the destruction and the amount of damage is currently being assessed by law enforcement officials.
As a reminder, our group of companies has suffered significant material damage as a result of the war, which as of the end of 2023 was estimated at around $1 billion. In particular, we are talking about the largest poultry farm in Europe, Chornobaivske, in the Kherson region, where a total of 4.5 million hens were killed by the Russian invasion, property and communications were destroyed, while modern high-tech equipment was taken by the marauding occupiers to Russia.
The enemy has also destroyed a number of egg farms in other regions: egg farms in Mykolaiv region, Donetsk region (Donetsk egg farm, as well as in Volnovakha and Bakhmut), and an egg farm in Kyiv region were looted or severely damaged by shelling. We have lost 160,000 hectares of cropland, the enemy has destroyed and looted regional depots and grain elevators in Kherson, Mykolaiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions, as well as in Kyiv region and near Kyiv City. In addition, the Russian occupiers have destroyed the group's production facilities in a number of regions, and stolen agricultural machinery, vehicles and inventories from group companies.
