The company has resumed farming land in the de-occupied territories that have already been cleared of mines, the company's press service said. In total, some 9,000 hectares of land have been cleared of mines, which were farmed by the company before the large-scale invasion. In particular, in the Kherson region (the company's branch in Novoraysk), work is underway on recently cleared 44 hectares of land. Most of the agricultural holding companies's land in Chernihiv region has been cleared of mines, and about 1,000 hectares in the region still need to be cleared. In Polissya (Zhytomyr region), we plan to demine a further 5,000 hectares.

As of today, 26.7 thousand hectares of cropland that the company was farming before Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine are in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Kherson regions. 18.5 thousand hectares of the company's cropland are still under constant shelling (border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions)

Ukrlandfarming Group is one of the largest agricultural producers in Ukraine. Before the war, the company was one of the largest employers and taxpayers in the industry. After the start of Russia's large-scale invasion, Ukrlandfarming suffered significant losses due to destroyed and stolen property and intends to seek compensation in court for more than $1 billion in damages caused by Russia as a result of the hostilities.
