Oleg Bakhmatyuk Debt to the State: Fact-checking

Recently, strong statements have been made by NABU concerning Oleg Bakhmatyuk and the case of refinancing of a liquidated WBB. These statements contradict the facts, documents and conclusions of the expert reports. The NBU also issued a statement that contradicted the findings of the audit.

Thus, the NBU states that "Oleg Bakhmatyuk's debt to the state amounts UAH 29.3 billion." NABU, which in general does not have the jurisdiction to consider economic cases against economic actors, is spreading accusations of alleged misuse of refinancing funds, inadequate appraisal of collateral, etc.
